I have not watched ‘avatar’ but went onto your link & am amazed that some people are unaware that they are SCRAPING away the life that is nurtured by our lovely ‘mother earth’ & hurting her skin in the process. I am ashamed to know that other human beings think that they are the only so called intelligent life here & presume to have the right to annialate whatever other lifeform they do not accept as ‘like them’ & do so as they please! It makes me angry! Sorry, I need to breathe & be calm. Jacquee

  3. I too find that the rape of our Great Mother angers and enrages me. I find that the miopic aproach to the subject is absolutely incredulous and pathetic. People who think that they can destroy an echosystem and that this will not at all affect anything else are narrow minded and foolish. The mere fact that they have destroyed an echosystem, even just one, is aweful. The fact that they don’t even see what it does to the rest of the planet is simply a case of huge denial at work. How would they feel if someone came into their back yard and began drilling? I don’t think they would like it very much at all. When there are so many echo friendly resources out there that don’t rape the earth, I think that big companies such as the Oil industry should be charged millions of dollars for the referbishment of the areas they have damaged and forced to find alternative ways of doing what they do. Or perhaps if Oil was banned as an industry, the other echo friendly resources would actually cath on more quickly.

You took the words right out of my mouth! I encourage you to do all you can to stop this as I will also try. And hopefully with theses elections coming, we can change the government and the way our Earth is treated.
