Japan 2012; an epic adventure post 19

From the journal of Christopher Sanford Beck on October 28, 2012

Today Yuta and Sayu came over to play and we went to the park to play catch. Unfortunately, one of my throws went to far and the baseball plopped into one of the pools in the shrine courtyard! Luckily we got it back. We had a great time playing together, and wouldn’t have gone home for a while longer except that it started raining! After that we just played inside for a while. Yuta’s family then took Ayana and I out for lunch. After lunch we started to walk back to the car, but we saw that there was a street fair going on. Curious, we popped into it and stayed for a while! We got Cotten Candy! After that, we played at video games at Yuta’s house until Catherine picked us up at 5. Once we got home, Catherine had a delicious supper of fish on the table for us. I went to bed early, and had a great sleep.

Thanks for reading, sorry that the post is so short! I only had about 15 minutes to blog it, Wednesdays are really busy! Expect better tomorrow.

A ball into the shrine pool … ooops! How did you fish it out? And were there Koi in the pool as well? Did the Shinto priests chase you out with a broom?
ps … love the picture … very cool!

    • Luckily the ball floated, so Yuta just fished it out. And there were Koi! No broom chasing though, intact I don’t know if there was anyone there
