Art gallery

Today, dad and I biked down to the Mendel art gallery to look at the art and all the plants in the green house. It was really cool. We mostly looked on the downstairs area because in the upstairs area, two different schools groups were touring. Downstairs, they had a really cool exhibit on different forms of mapping, combined with really neat drawings/sketches. Of you want, you can look on the Mendel’s website (probably just type in Mendel Saskatoon and it should pop up) and look around for hatch . We also saw some neat pieces done by school kids around the topic of Saskatchewan and Saskatchewan’s history.
Any ways, it was a very good and very fun experience :).
P.S. unfortunately, we were riding our bikes back home in the snow 😦 shouldn’t have to do that in April.

    Hiya Christopher!
Tried to put up a comment here, but it got lost in cyberspace somewhere…
Anyway, just wanted to let you know that i really enjoyed the morning, even with the snow. The hot chocolate at the Mendel was particularly good. I loved trying to decipher the “code” hidden in the maps … I think we did pretty well at it actually. I also loved the solarium/greenhouse. All the flowers, and the moist scented air, and just about falling into the plant beds while smelling the lillies! Yup, doesn’t get much better than that!
Actually, this morning helped me to remember that unschooling is really about a very gentle path of learning … which is what we were hoping for when we started.
    Love ya!

  2. Thanks Dad! I agree (%)100(%) 🙂
Thank you for the great time!
